Just remember though… Strength takes time… but being efficient with your arm training by working the full functions of the muscles will speed up the return on your investment.

So…basically picking exercises that work the triceps and biceps through their entire range of motion.

But.. first lets get to know the muscles themselves to train them better..

Triceps have three heads (Long, Medial & Lateral)

Biceps have two heads (Long & Short)

Triceps General Functions

  1. Straightens Elbow
  2. Shoulder Extension
  3. Shoulder Adduction (Brings Arms Back To The Body)

 

Biceps General Functions

  1. Bends Elbow
  2. Turns Palm Upwards
  3. Shoulder Stability

 

Now thats covered, simply thinking of these movement patterns when choosing exercises in the gym will increase your strength alot!
